SUBMIT YOUR WORK
**Reminder: New ASEAN Lit was created as an outlet for emerging and established Southeast Asian writers and artists. Please only submit if you identify as a member of the Southeast Asian diaspora. Read more about our mission here.**
Please email all submissions to newaseanlit@gmail.com. Please title the subject line of your submission “ONLINE FEATURE SUBMISSION_LASTNAME” and include a brief third person bio at the bottom of the email.
GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- We accept previously published work!
- We accept work in the following categories: poetry, prose, and visual art.
- Feel free to simultaneously submit.
- Attach submissions in pdf or docx format.
POETRY SUBMISSIONS
- We will consider up to three pages of poetry. Assure that your submission is in 12pt and Times New Roman font.
PROSE SUBMISSIONS
- We will consider fiction and nonfiction under 2,500 words. Assure that your submission is in 12pt and Times New Roman font.
VISUAL ART SUBMISSIONS
- We will consider up to three pieces of visual art submitted in either .jpg or .png format. Feel free to include an Artist’s Statement.
